Need a break from Tinder? Disable Discovery to hide your profile without deleting your account.

When Discovery is off, your profile won’t be shown as a recommendation to new people on Tinder. You also can't view recommendations or Like anyone new. However, people you’ve already Liked may still see your profile and match with you. You can continue to view and chat with your existing matches.

To disable Discovery

  1. Sign in to the Tinder app or Tinder.com\n
    2. \n
  2. Tap the profile icon
    3. \n
  3. Go to Settings
    4. \n
  4. Scroll to Enable Discovery \n
    5. \n
  5. Turn the toggle off
    6. \n

To enable Discovery

Follow the same steps but turn the toggle on.
