It would be really helpful if you took the time to describe your issue below, but before you do, please try deleting and reinstalling the app. This tends to solve many technical issues and ensures that you’re using the latest (and best) version of Tinder.
If you’re still having trouble, please share as many details as you can with us about the issue using the form below and include screenshots of the issue if possible.
Tinder bans accounts in response to violations of our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines.

We’re sorry to see you go! To delete your account, you must be able to access it. You can delete your account by logging in to the Tinder app for iOS or Android, Tinder.com or Tinder’s Account Management portal.
If you’re logged in to Tinder, deleting your account is simple: tap the profile icon in the bottom-right corner, go to “Settings”, scroll down and tap “Delete account”, and then “Confirm”.

To request a refund from Apple, please visit Apple Support or follow the steps below:
- Open iTunes on your computer.
- Click on your Apple ID.
- Select “Purchase history”.
- Find the transaction you’d like refunded and tap “Report problem”.

If you purchased a Tinder subscription using your Apple ID, you’ll need to cancel your subscription directly on your iOS device. Follow the steps below:
- Go to your iOS settings.
- Find and select iTunes & App Store.
- Tap “Apple ID” (your Apple ID email).
- Tap “View Apple ID”.
- Log in if you need to.
- Scroll down to “Subscriptions”, then tap it.
- Select “Tinder” and tap “Cancel subscription”.
You should be able to see the end date of your subscription on this screen. For more details, go to this Apple Support article.
Note: after cancelling your subscription, you’ll be able to use your subscription for the remaining days that you’ve already paid for. Cancelling your subscription won’t retroactively refund subscription payments, and previously charged subscription fees can’t be prorated based on cancellation date. Deleting the app and/or your account does not cancel your subscription.
If you subscribed to Tinder Plus or Tinder Gold using your Android device, steps for cancellation will vary depending on the method of payment.
If you subscribed using your Google Play Store account:
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Using the left-hand menu, select “Account”.
- Go to “Subscriptions” and select “Tinder”.
- Tap “Cancel” or “Unsubscribe”.
- Confirm
If you subscribed using the credit card payment option on Android:
- Open the Tinder app for Android.
- Tap the profile icon on the main screen.
- Select “Manage payment account”.
- Tap “Cancel subscription”.

- Either disable “Auto renew” or select the option to “Cancel”.

- Go to “Settings”.
- Scroll down and select “Restore purchase”.

If you have an active Tinder subscription that’s not being recognised in the app, make sure you’re using the latest version of Tinder and follow the steps below to restore your purchase:
- Open Tinder.
- Tap the profile icon on the main screen.
- Go to “Settings”.
- Scroll down and select “Restore purchase”.
Note: restoring the purchase won’t charge your card again. It’ll only reinstate any existing, active subscription to Tinder

If you subscribed to Tinder, or accidentally purchased a subscription, and want to stop the recurring payments associated with this subscription, you can cancel it at any time by following the steps found here. If you sign in to Tinder with phone number: for security reasons, SMS verification is required upon login. Another user can’t access your account unless they gain access to your phone, phone number and/or one of the SMS verification codes that have been sent to your phone number. To request a copy of your personal data, please visit Tinder’s Manage My Account tool, securely sign into your account, click on “Download my data” and enter your email address.
You’ll receive an email with a link to download your data within a few days. To protect your privacy and security, this link will expire 24 hours after the email is sent.
Much of the information you’ll receive through the Manage My Account tool is already available to you through the app – such as your email address, phone number, profile photo(s), messages and preferences – and may vary depending on how you’ve used Tinder. In general, this information includes content and photos you have provided, whether directly or through your social media accounts, as well as messages and other data you would expect from a service like Tinder.
If you’ve deleted your Tinder account, you won’t be able to access the Manage My Account tool, as you no longer have an account.
