Why can't I connect my Instagram to my Tinder account anymore?
Meta is removing the ability for other apps like Tinder to connect and show Instagram photos.
From November 14, 2024 to December 4, 2024, Tinder will gradually remove the Instagram feature from our platform.
This means you’ll no longer be able to link your Instagram to your profile or view Instagram photos on other people's profiles.
Will my Instagram photos still be on my profile?
No, your Instagram photos have been removed, but any photos you uploaded directly to Tinder are still there.
Can I share my Instagram handle on my profile?
For everyone's privacy and safety, social media handles aren't allowed on profiles, following our Community Guidelines. We also suggest avoiding any personal info, like your phone number or email, for a safer experience.
How can I share more about myself on Tinder without Instagram?
We totally get it—change can be tricky. Try updating your bio, photos, Interests, Lifestyle details or even connecting your Spotify—these are great ways for others to get to know you. Learn more about editing your profile.
What happens to my Instagram-related data?
By January 2025, Tinder will automatically remove all Instagram-related data from your account. No action is needed—your data will be securely deleted.
