What are Profile & Activity Badges?

Badges are used to highlight your profile and help you stand out from the crowd. There are two types of badges: Activity Badges and Profile Badges.

At the moment, the Badges feature has limited availability in select test markets. Not everyone on Tinder has access yet. If you have access to Badges and you qualify for a badge, it will be shown on your Tinder profile. 

Activity Badges

Activity Badges are based on your behavior on Tinder. If you don’t want to show Activity  Badges on your profile, you can easily disable this in your Settings under ‘Badges’. Below you can discover the requirements for each Activity Badge.

• Likely to chat/reply: Member has at least 3 new matches in the past 7 days and has a rate of having conversations with at least 70% of their matches. Certain anti-spam and safety measures may impact eligibility for this badge.

Profile Badges 

Profile Badges are based on profile information that will help you stand out to potential matches, such as your location or account age. You can’t disable Profile Badges. Below you can discover the requirements for each Profile Badge.

• Nearby: Member is within a 6 mile (10 km) radius of you. 
• Just joined / New here: Member joined within the last 7 days. This badge is automatically removed after 7 days.
