Apply to Tinder U/Uni
Tinder U™ (or Tinder Uni in the UK) is the perfect feature for effortlessly connecting with students at your university and nearby colleges. Ideal for both new and experienced users, it enhances your Tinder experience by focusing your discovery on fellow students, helping you expand your social circle and create lasting college memories.
Here's what to know before you apply:
- Who's it for? Tinder U™ is intended for current college students ages 18-24
- Email requirement: You must have a student email address (ending in .edu in the US and .ac.uk in the UK) to sign up.
- Educational institutions: You must be enrolled at select 4-year, accredited, not-for-profit schools in the US and UK. These schools should offer courses in a traditional, face-to-face learning format.
If you already have a profile and want to apply:
- Open Tinder and tap the profile icon.
- Go to Edit Profile.
- Scroll down to School and add your school information.
- Tap on the option to Apply for Tinder U/Tinder Uni.
- Enter and verify your student email address.
If you're new to Tinder and want to enroll:
Just download the Tinder app to your Android or iOS device or open tinder.com from the web and create an account.
If you run into trouble while applying:
- Make sure you fit the eligibility criteria we mentioned before.
- Double-check your student email address for typos or extra spaces.
