The minimum age requirement for Tinder is 18 years old. If you’ve been restricted from Tinder because you didn’t meet our age requirements, you can't continue with account creation until you turn 18.
Made a mistake?
If you accidentally entered the wrong birthdate and are over 18 years old, you can appeal the restriction by verifying your age.
To begin, open Tinder and select the option to verify your age. We’ll ask you to submit your ID to a third-party website that we use to verify age. Once your ID has been reviewed and we’ve confirmed you’re 18+, we’ll update your birthday and lift the restriction so you can continue with account creation.
Users in Texas, USA
To comply with Texas law, we use age information provided by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to prevent anyone under 18 from accessing our service.
If you’re over 18, but are unable to create an account, please check your app store settings to ensure:
- Your date of birth is correct
- Your account is not under parental supervision, and
- Age information sharing is enabled.
Once your settings are updated, return to Tinder and try again.
