Cancel your subscription

Whether you've found your match or just need a break, here's how you can cancel your subscription and avoid future charges.

iOS purchases

If your order number starts with MK, it means you made your purchase on the Tinder app for iOS and are being billed by Apple.

To cancel on your Apple device:

  1. Open your Settings
  2. Tap your name at the top 
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find and select the subscription you want to cancel
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Please note: Apple Pay and Web payment options are rolling out in select markets. If you subscribed with 1 of these methods, please refer to the instructions under Tinder.com purchases.

Android purchases

If your order number starts with GPA, you signed up through the Tinder app on Android and are billed by the Google Play Store.

To cancel on your Android device:

  1. Open the Google Play app
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top right
  3. Go to Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions
  4. Select the subscription you want to cancel
  5. Tap Cancel subscription

Alternatively, if you paid directly with a credit card or PayPal through the Android app:

  1. Open the Tinder app on your Android device
  2. Tap your profile iconnavigates to profile screen
    Choose Manage Payment Account
  3. Find the subscription you want to cancel
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription

Tinder.com purchases

If your order number starts with TNDR, you purchased on Tinder.com or through the Android app using a credit card.

To cancel:

  1. Go to tinder.com and log in
  2. Tap your profile iconnavigates to profile screen
  3. Select Manage Payment Account
  4. Find the subscription you want to cancel
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Third-party purchases

If you've made a third-party purchase, it was likely done outside the Tinder app or tinder.com.

  • To cancel: You can follow one of the sets of cancellation steps above.  
  • To request a refund: You'll need to contact the merchant directly.

‌Additional details about canceling subscriptions

  • Uninstalling or deleting the app won't cancel your subscription.
  • Subscriptions can only be associated with 1 Tinder account at a time.
  • If you've changed devices (such as from iOS to Android), you must cancel your subscription on your old device as subscriptions don’t transfer between platforms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until they're canceled.
