How to disable an ad blocker

To disable your ad blocker, follow the instructions below, but note that instructions may vary depending on the browser you're using.  

Adblock Plus

  1. Click on the red Adblock Plus icon in the upper right corner of your browser.
  2. Click Enabled on this site so it changes to Disabled on this site.
  3. Refresh the page. 

AdBlock

  1. Click on the red stop sign with hand icon in the upper right corner of your browser.
  2. Click Don’t run on pages in this domain.
  3. Drag the site slider to the right so that the whitelist filter reads “nytimes.com.”
  4. Refresh the page.

uBlock

  1. Click on the red stop sign with the letter U in the upper right corner of your browser.
  2. Click the large blue power button.
  3. Refresh the page. 

Ghostery

  1. Click the Ghostery icon on your browser.
  2. In Ghostery versions < 6.0 click Whitelist site
  3. In Ghostery version 6.0 click Trust site
  4. In versions < 6.0 You will see the message“ Site is whitelisted.” Click Reload the page to see your changes.
  5. Refresh the page.
