Accidentally unmatched someone
Once you unmatch with someone, they immediately disappear from your match list. Unfortunately, unmatching is a permanent action.
One or a few matches disappeared
If only one or even a few of your matches have disappeared, they’ve most likely ended the match or deleted their Tinder account. If they deleted their account and decide to come back to Tinder, you may see that person reappear in your card stack.
All of my matches disappeared
This may be temporary, please try again at a later time. If you still don't see any of your matches, the best thing to do is log out and back in to the app:
- Open Tinder
- Tap the profile icon
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down and tap Logout
No New Matches
It doesn’t matter who you are or what you look like — making a connection can take time and effort. It’s not always instant, it’s not always constant, and it’s not always about you. You may just needs a few tips to get noticed.
- Update your bio or photos for a quick profile refresh
- Turn on the Smart Photos feature to make sure you’re always leading with your most Liked photo
- Connect your Insta and Spotify accounts to your profile to let potential matches see and hear a bit more about you
The good news? It’s just a matter of time before you make a connection with someone new.
Matches loading indefinitely
If your matches aren’t fully loading, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- First, make sure you have a strong internet connection; try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see whether or not there's a problem.
- Delete and reinstall the app. Not only will this put you on the latest version of Tinder, it’ll also refresh your app experience!
- If you’re using the Tinder app for iOS or Android, try using Tinder.com instead.
My matches' photos won't load
If one or more of your matches' photos won't load, try logging out and logging back in.
- Open Tinder
- Tap the profile icon
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down and tap Logout
