If you're interested in upgrading to Tinder Gold or Tinder Platinum, you can do so within the app. Open Tinder > tap the profile icon > Settings > Get Tinder Gold or Get Tinder Platinum.
On iPhone
Once you upgrade, changes to your subscription will occur within 24 hours or less and you will be charged for your new Tinder Gold or Platinum subscription immediately. Apple should issue a refund for the remaining time that you had left on Tinder Plus.

On Android
- If you subscribed using your Google Play Store account, changes to your subscription will be made immediately. You’ll be charged a prorated amount (the difference in price between the subscriptions) and changes to your subscription will be made immediately. You’ll keep your original subscription renewal date, and continue to be charged for Tinder Gold or Platinum on this date. For more details about the billing process, please refer to Google Play Support.
- If you subscribed using the direct credit card option on Android, changes to your subscription will occur within 24 hours or less and you will be charged for your new subscription immediately. A refund will be issued for the remaining time that you had left on your old subscription but this transaction may not immediately appear in your bank account.
On Tinder Web (Tinder Online)
Once you upgrade, changes to your subscription will occur within 24 hours or less and you will be charged for your new Tinder subscription immediately. A refund will be issued for the remaining time that you had left on your original subscription, but this transaction may not immediately appear in your bank account.
Note: You’ll only be able to change the type of subscription you have (Tinder Gold or Tinder Plus), not the length of the subscription package. For example, if you’ve subscribed to Tinder Plus for 6 months and upgrade to Tinder Gold, you’ll only be able to upgrade to the 6 month Tinder Gold package.
