“Purchase failed” error message (iOS)
If you’re seeing an error that says “Purchase Failed,” this means your Apple ID is already associated with an active subscription on a different Tinder account. Each Apple ID can only be tied to one Tinder account and one subscription at a time.
Before you can purchase a Tinder subscription on your new account, you need to delete your old one first. Deleting your account will permanently delete your matches, messages and other info associated with it.
- Sign in to Tinder account you’d like to delete
- Tap the profile icon
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down and select Delete Account
