If you have a Tinder subscription that the app won’t recognize, the best thing you can do is restore your purchase.
Restore Purchase helps you maintain access to your subscription whenever you upgrade to a new phone, delete and recreate your Tinder account, or find yourself in another situation where the app won’t automatically recognize it. Follow the steps below to restore your purchase.
Did you subscribe using your Apple ID or Google Play Store account?
- Open Tinder
- Tap the profile icon
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down and tap Restore Purchase
Did you subscribe using the direct credit card option on Android or at Tinder.com?
- Go to Tinder.com and sign in
- Tap the profile icon
- Scroll down to Manage Payment Account or Restore Purchases
- Enter your Restore Token (it’s the number found in your purchase confirmation email that starts with the letters “RT”)
Quick note: Restoring your purchase won't initiate a new transaction; it simply reconnects any existing and active subscription to the app.
