The age verification process is completed in your mobile browser, outside of the Tinder app. You need to allow your internet browser to access your camera, so you can submit photos of your ID and successfully verify your age. To enable camera access, please follow the instructions below:
iOS
To allow camera access in Safari (or your preferred browser):
- Open your Settings app
- Scroll down and tap Safari (or the browser you use)
- Tap Camera
- Select Allow
Android
To allow camera access in Chrome (or your preferred browser):
- Open your Settings app
- Tap Apps
- Tap Chrome (or the browser you use)
- Tap Permissions
- Tap Camera
- Choose Allow or Allow only while using the app
Once you’ve granted access, return to the age verification webpage to proceed with the verification process.
Note: You can always revoke camera access after completing this process.
After the process is complete, you’ll get redirected back to Tinder.
