The age verification process is completed in your mobile browser, outside of the Tinder app. You need to allow your internet browser to access your camera, so you can submit photos of your ID and successfully verify your age. If you’re looking for more information about how age verification works, please visit this article.
To enable camera access:
- On iOS: Go to your phone's Settings > Safari (or your preferred web browser) > Camera > Allow
- On Android: Go to your phone's Settings > Apps > Chrome (or your preferred web browser) > Permission > Camera > Allow (or "Allow while using the App")
Once you’ve granted access, return to the age verification webpage to proceed with the verification process. Note: you can always revoke camera access after completing this process.
After the process is complete, you’ll get redirected back to Tinder.
