Is your subscription tied to an old Tinder account?
Subscriptions can only be associated with one Tinder account at a time.
If you’re seeing an error message that says, “Your subscription is currently tied to an existing Tinder account,” this means your subscription is associated with an account that isn’t the one you’re signed in to.
To use your subscription on your new account, you’ll need to delete your old one first. Deleting your account will permanently delete your matches, messages and other info associated with it. .
- Sign in to the account you want to delete
Tap the profile icon
Go to Settings
Scroll down and select Delete Account
Once you’ve successfully deleted your old account, log in to your new one and try again to restore your purchase.
Did you recently switch devices?
If you’ve changed mobile platforms from iOS to Android or vice versa, we suggest that you cancel your current subscription and subscribe again on your new mobile device. Using and managing your subscription is easiest if you subscribe on your current mobile platform.
