I’m having trouble redeeming a promo code or other third-party purchase.
Depending on the error message you’re seeing, there are several possible reasons for why you’re running into trouble with redemption of a third-party purchase:
- You aren’t located in the country for which the offer is valid
- You’ve entered the incorrect promo code
- You’ve already redeemed this code OR someone else has already redeemed it
- You already have an active subscription
- Your device is experiencing issues with connectivity
- You don’t meet other limitations for this promotion (i.e. some codes cannot be redeemed by existing Tinder members)
I was able to redeem my purchase, but it isn’t immediately active in my account.
If you’ve successfully completed or redeemed a third-party purchase, but the subscription isn’t automatically applied to your account, this means that you already have a prior subscription that’s currently active.
In this case, you must cancel your active subscription and wait for it to expire. Once it’s expired, your third-party purchase will be automatically applied to your account.
