Restore your profile within 90 days
If you deleted your profile within the last 90 days, you can recreate your profile and restore some profile information, like your name, age, and gender, by creating a Tinder account with your previous credentials.
Restore your profile after 90 days
If you deleted your profile over 90 days ago, you'll need to start fresh with a new account.
What we can’t restore
Once you delete your account, your messages, matches, photos, and Verification badge (if applicable) can’t be restored, even if you log in again within 90 days.
Do I have to complete the Face Check process again?
This section only applies if Face Check is required in your region or on the platform you use to access Tinder.
If you sign up for Tinder using your previous credentials within 30 days of deleting your account, you won’t need to complete Face Check again. Instead, we’ll use your stored Verification Data to confirm your Face Check status, check for duplicate accounts, and verify your new profile photos. You’ll get a Photo Verified badge if your stored FaceMap matches the face in your new profile photos.
If you sign in after 30 days, however, you’ll be prompted to complete the Face Check process again for your new account. That’s because Verification Data is deleted within 30 days after you close your account.

Our data retention policy
When you close your account, your Tinder profile is no longer visible to other users and your data is deleted as set out in our Privacy Policy. Notably, we retain your data for 90 days as a "safety retention window" and to enable the 90-day restore feature if you recreate your account within this time frame. After 90 days, most of your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy. For more information check out Section 9 of our Privacy Policy.
